About Me
My design journey actually began in 2004, as a high schooler doing poster and abstract design on sites like DeviantArt and Depthcore. To be honest, I was quite ashamed and insecure about my abilities for a large portion of my career, even when I was working full time as a Creative Director at APMC (where I currently work at, again).
Having been exposed to the digital design community at its nascent stages, I've seen technology shift, career paths evolve, and design perspectives become more nuanced. Since those days, I've dabbled in brand design, product design, and even some D2C/B2B sales.
As a result, I've developed an approach to problem-solving and designing solutions that I believed is agnostic of expertise and focuses on the core principles of good design—a perspective formed through years of failing, guided mentorship, and successful ventures.
During that journey, I also got married to an awesome woman, adopted two kitties, and set my roots in Orange County, California.
I currently work as a VP of Design at A Parent Media Co. Inc., where I lead brand and product designers in creating direct connections to live sports streaming while modernizing the fan experience for the digital era.
